About

Why North Point?

At North Point, education is about more than examination results. We build strong academic foundations while giving children the encouragement, opportunities and support to learn, explore, participate and grow into capable, confident and grounded young people.

Foundation

Serious about learning. Careful not to narrow childhood.

Strong academic foundations matter. North Point takes learning seriously, developing the knowledge, understanding, curiosity and discipline students need to succeed within the ICSE and ISC curriculum — and beyond it.

But academic achievement is a foundation, not the entire definition of success.

People

Teachers who teach. And take an interest in the child.

Children learn best when they are known, supported and encouraged. At North Point, teachers are central to that journey — combining established classroom practice with digital and experiential learning while taking an active interest in each child's development.

Technology supports teaching. It does not replace the teacher.

Experience

Learning that doesn't stop when the lesson does.

A complete education gives children reasons to participate. Sports, competitions, performances, creative activities, projects, exhibitions, educational visits and cultural experiences allow students to explore their interests and develop confidence, resilience, communication, discipline and teamwork.

North Point's current programme reflects this through sports, chess, drama, music, dance, arts, competitions, exhibitions, cultural events and educational and industrial visits.

Growth

More than good students. Capable people.

The goal is not to make every child exceptional at everything. It is to give every child the opportunity to discover their strengths and become better than they were before.

We want students to leave North Point with more than what they have learned — with confidence, character, discipline, curiosity, resilience, empathy, communication and independence.
