Library

A place for reading, research, quiet concentration and discovery.

What it is

A space to discover

With more than 14,000 books, the school library brings together resources for learning, research and reading for pleasure across every age group. From curriculum-related books and reference material to fiction and non-fiction spanning a wide range of genres, students can find something to support both their academic interests and their curiosity beyond the classroom.

The library also provides access to journals and other research materials, giving students resources to explore subjects in greater depth.

How students use it

Learning beyond the textbook

Students use the library to find information for projects, deepen their understanding of subjects and prepare for competitions. They learn to explore different sources, find relevant information and follow their curiosity beyond what is covered in the classroom.

For students from Class 5 to 12, dedicated library periods also offer something equally important: time to simply read. In the midst of an academically demanding school day, the library gives students a quiet space to slow down, choose a book and take a moment for themselves.

Why it matters

There is value in having nowhere to rush

A library is more than a collection of books. It gives students the freedom to choose what they want to know, what they want to read and, sometimes, simply what they want to think about.

The library creates space for curiosity, concentration and quiet reflection—qualities that are increasingly valuable in a world filled with constant information and distraction. It helps students discover that learning does not always have to begin with an assignment; sometimes, it begins with picking up a book because something caught their attention.
