North Point School follows the curriculum of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE). 

The motto of  the school “Ad Astra”  and the North Point logo of a horizon and the North Pole Star embodies the school’s mission of extending one’s horizons and reaching out to the stars.

North Point School aims at imparting a holistic education. The approach is refreshingly that of  a student-centric  curriculum rather than of curriculum – centric students or students tied to a curriculum.   

A well-laid out campus housing two multi-storied buildings equipped with excellent amenities provide  congenial environs to foster all-round development of the students. The amenities include spacious classrooms, colourful tables, a well-endowed library, an audio-visual room, a state-of-the-art computer lab complete with the latest in digital projectors, a music room housing school band percussion instruments such as drums, guitar, keyboard, banjo, trumpet, flutes, a dance room, an art room and a counsellor’s cabin, a large playground and modern science labs  and many other teaching aids. Other facilities are progressively included by the school from year to year.  

Currently, the school conducts classes from Nursery to Std. X with higher classes being added each year. This academic year will see the inclusion of Std. XI or Junior College in our school.  

In academics, North Point School boasts of a faculty are experts in their subject who set high standards and hone and prepare the students accordingly so that they too gain the expertise and perform to expectations when it comes to the Board Examinations. Concepts are reinforced using practical demonstrations and application-oriented projects, debates, group discussions and audio-visuals . Playway methods like skits beget the wholehearted and enthusiastic involvement of the students and develop an undying passion for the subject. Each subject then becomes an exciting realm to be explored and  a creative experience to be unravelled, not just another cumbersome burden.

The school provides training in various activities like Elocution, Dramatics, Dance, Music (Vocal & Instrumental (both western and Indian)), Art/Calligraphy, Craft, Literature   Clubs, Maths & Science Clubs,  Chess, Karate, Roller Skates, Hockey, Football, Athletics, Gynamstics,   Hand Ball, Throwball, Abacus and Yoga. One can avail  of the myraid avenues which open up varied dimensions of the personality of the student and channelise their restless energies. Furthermore, numerous inter-house and inter-  school competitions bring forth,  groom budding talents and provide opportunities in so many different arenas, that it invariably leads to   better self-esteem and confidence in not just a chosen few, but actually in each and every student of  the school. Group projects, science exhibitions, team sports and competitions inculcates the qualities of     leadership, team-work and sportsmanship in the students   thereby preparing them for life itself.

The many dilemmas of adolescence and career guidance are sorted out by the regular workshops arranged by the school. Similarly health checkup camps are organized. Regular workshops on topics in science, geology, environment etc. by experts from the industry/scientific    community are hosted whereby  new concepts are revealed, difficult concepts get indepth elucidations, the mysteries of the topic get comprehended, doubts get dispelled and the queries of inquiring minds get answers.
